Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Amy Hartgrove—a former public school teacher, church youth and family director, improv enthusiast, and lifelong advocate for children and families. I hold a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from Northwest Missouri State University and have spent years nurturing young minds in daycare settings, churches, and classrooms.
After walking through the uncertainty of the pandemic, a car wreck, and the demands of teaching, everything changed. In that season of struggle, God opened doors I never expected. I stepped away from formal teaching to stay at home—because my daughters are only young once. What felt like an ending quickly revealed itself to be the beginning of a calling I never could have imagined.
Homeschooling wasn’t originally part of the plan, but God placed it on my heart, and once I began, I saw a real need in our community. What started as a simple co-op has grown into a bigger vision for families in the Northland. With over 3.7 million children being homeschooled across the country, education is shifting—and so are we.
My husband and I are walking faithfully into what God is building through us. We’re passionate about creating a place where homeschool families can connect, grow, and thrive. This isn’t just education—it’s a calling. And we can’t wait to walk this journey with you.

Our Vision
The Good Life Homeschool Center exists to nurture confident, capable learners who walk boldly in their God-given purpose. We believe education should grow with the child—adaptable, meaningful, and full of possibility.
We provide a space where:
-
Learning meets students right where they are—at their own pace and in their own way
-
Knowledge is woven into real-world relevance through hands-on, project-based experiences
-
Students are guided by their interests and callings—not confined by a one-size-fits-all model
-
Character and faith are foundational, with God at the center of both academic and personal growth
-
Families and children thrive together in a Christ-centered community built on love, trust, and intentional connection
